Paid Social Consultant

The Role

A Paid Social Consultant will typically:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of paid social strategies for clients 
  • Managing paid social campaigns with a proven track record of achieving KPIs
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience in all areas of paid social
  • Multi-channel digital marketing
  • Facebook/Instagram strategy setting and implementation
  • Experience in eCommerce and understanding of the retail sector in the context of digital marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running Paid Social campaigns
  • Knowledge & experience of using Facebook Ads Manager and the setup in Business Manager
  • A good understanding of how to build the Paid Social funnel and how to strategically use Facebook and Instagram to achieve this.
  • Inventive, always looking to be proactive and push the boundaries to try new things
  • Working with various web analytics tools to identify paid social opportunities and to optimise and develop paid social campaigns
  • Create accurate weekly and monthly reports to provide results, insights and plans in written reports and PowerPoint presentations
  • Budget management and implementation
  • Create, edit and optimise ad copy across a variety of platforms including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Create and set-up new paid social campaigns for clients and partners
  • Use of 3rd party tools to analyse and monitor competitor activity
  • Performing and analyzing A/B tests to recommend campaign changes and optimisations
  • Prioritising workloads and recording all activity through the submission of weekly timesheets
  • Maintaining and sharing up-to-date knowledge of expert Paid Social techniques, industry benchmarks and tools
  • Carrying out technical Paid Social reviews of accounts and providing recommendations to improve structure and performance
  • To communicate project tasks and results with internal team members on an ongoing basis
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest Paid Social techniques, best practices, industry benchmarks and tools

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • 1 years’ experience working in a digital marketing agency or within marketing would be a distinct advantage
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Awareness of Google Analytics and/or other analytical software
  • Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the principles of paid social
  • Proven knowledge and management of the Facebook platform – Facebook Business Manager
