Digital Marketing Architect - SEO Specialist

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Managing SEO/Digital Marketing campaigns from strategy to tactical implementation to deliver amazing results on time and budget for all clients & internal customers
  • Managing the production resource to accomplish the tasks/objectives/KPIs associated with all client campaigns & projects and to act as the link between the partner account manager and the production team
  • Analysing keyword and audience data by using online tools, Google Analytics and Excel spreadsheets to produce insights
  • Optimising meta tags and content to maximise keyword variation and relevance
  • Carrying out technical SEO reviews of websites and providing recommendations to improve structure and layout
  • Creating SEO/Digital Marketing strategies and campaign plans to achieve client objectives including increasing rankings, traffic, engagement, leads and sales
  • Developing content for new website pages, articles, blogs, presentations, infographics and social media profiles
  • Promoting online content through developing long term relationships with website owners, bloggers and social media influencers
  • Presenting campaign results, insights and plans in written reports and Powerpoint presentations
  • Prioritising workloads and recording all activity through the submission of weekly timesheets
  • Continuously improving the quality of client campaigns by developing internal processes, systems, templates and training programmes
  • Training junior members of the team and providing development support
  • To line manage, coach and deliver quarterly appraisal reviews for individuals within your production team: (your team may grow/alter over time)
  • To communicate project tasks and results to clients on an ongoing basis. Where required you will also be required to meet face to face with partners/clients to discuss/review the project strategy and results and to identify other potential ‘sales’ opportunities
  • Maintaining and sharing up-to-date knowledge of expert SEO techniques, industry benchmarks and tools
  • Supporting sales and marketing with proposals, pitches, blogs and events as required

The Role

An Organic Search Digital Marketing Architect will typically:

  • Deliver a wide range of organic search tactics across our client base
  • Specialise in a sub-set of organic search activities developing processes, training fellow team members and generally showing how awesome they are at it
  • Develop organic search campaign strategies to deliver against the client’s KPIs for “own” clients
  • Manage organic search and integrated search campaign relationships for clients
  • Work closely with colleagues in the paid search, social media and online PR teams as required to deliver excellent results for clients
  • Utilise industry tools and software to gain performance insight and report on campaign performance against KPIs
  • Regularly communicate campaign performance to clients
  • Present work to clients
  • Manage and prioritise their workload to meet client expectations and multiple deadlines
  • Record time spent on work and submit weekly timesheets
  • Maintaining and sharing up-to-date knowledge of expert SEO techniques, industry benchmarks and tools
  • Supporting sales and marketing with proposals, pitches, blogs and events as required
  • Problem-solve as different obstacles arise on client campaigns
  • Write industry update content for the ThoughtShift blog

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing role (SEO, Online PR & Social Media)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a digital marketing agency role
  • Experience in achieving astounding Digital Marketing campaign results
  • Experience in communicating Digital Marketing campaign performance
  • Experience in managing multiple client/partner relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting to clients
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong listening, questioning, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex data
  • Strong MS Office and tracking tool knowledge
