On the 1st of June 2013 ThoughtShift will officially launch a charity fundraising competition, splitting their staff into two teams, The Red Team and The Blue Team. Each team has one year until the 1st of June 2014 to raise as much money as possible for their chosen charity through digital marketing and fundraising activities.
The Blue Team will be fundraising for The Starr Trust and The Red Team will be fundraising for The Clock Tower Sanctuary. The Starr Trust is a children’s charity which funds a number of educational and extracurricular programmes to help children achieve their personal goals. The Clock Tower Sanctuary is a charity dedicated to helping homeless young people get back on their feet and provides them with the same opportunities as other young people.
The first fundraising activity took place on the 24th of May in the form of a bake sale which raised £182.58 for The Starr Trust. This is just the beginning as both teams are planning a variety of fundraising activities both big and small for their chosen charities.
Whichever team raises the most money for charity will win a VIP night out in London including door to door limo pick up, drinks and dinner, along with the satisfaction of having raised a lot of money for a great cause.
